WritingSpirit.com officially launches on August 8, 2008 (yes, that's 08/08/08).

I've been having fun designing covers for the interviews I've done so far. Here they are:

Mark David Gerson wrote the award winning novel, MoonQuest, and one of the best writing books I’ve ever read, The Voice of the Muse: Answering the Call to Write.  We talked about productivity, writer's block,  the Muse Stream, and what it takes to be both courageous and compassionate with ourselves as we write.

Susan Piver wrote the New York Times Bestseller, The Hard Questions: 100 Questions to Ask Before You Say 'I Do', and how not to be afraid of your own life, among others. Along with meditation, overcoming fear, and writing, we talked about her two appearances on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

Sheila Bender has written several books including, A Writer's Journal, Keeping a Journal You Love, and Writing and Publishing Personal Essays. We talked about how journaling can enhance your writing on a daily basis, as well as how to turn old journal entries into essays and stories.

Arthur Hiller has directed 33 films, including Love Story, The Americanization of Emily, The Hospital, Man of La Mancha, The Man in the Glass Booth, Plaza Suite, Silver Streak, and Outrageous Fortune. We talked about Neil Simon, Paddy Chayefsky, and the relationship between writer and director.
